Passionate Swimming Instructor and Montessori Educator

My name is Zuleika Pretorius, and I am a dedicated swimming instructor with more than 7 years of experience in teaching young children, particularly those between the ages of 2 and 8. I possess a Level 2 qualification in swimming instruction, focusing on water safety and helping children develop a lifelong enthusiasm for swimming.

In addition to my swimming expertise, I am also a qualified Montessori Directress and have a background in Early Childhood Development (ECD). My teaching style is influenced by Montessori methods, which enable me to create nurturing, engaging environments that cater to the individual needs of each child.

As a proud mother of a 14-year-old teenager and a 10-month-old baby, I understand the different stages of childhood. This experience deepens my approach to teaching, incorporating patience, creativity, and play into every lesson. I am committed to making swimming a joyful and enriching experience, where each child feels secure and inspired to learn.

I firmly believe that swimming is an essential life skill that also brings immense joy and camaraderie among young swimmers.
